Travelling to Loughborough University London from Central London

Loughborough University London is located at Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E15 2GZ. It is connected to the nearby Stratford International, Stratford International DLR, Stratford Underground and Stratford DLR stations by a regular, free-of-charge ‘Here East’ shuttlebus service, taking about 5 minutes.

Travelling to Stratford from Kings Cross or St Pancras Stations

Kings Cross and St Pancras International stations are adjacent to one another. To get to Stratford International Station you need to find Platforms 11-13 inside St Pancras International. Initially follow the signs to ‘All Trains’. Platforms 11-13 – operated by South-Eastern Railways – are located in the far north-east corner of the large station complex. They are quite close to Platforms A and B – the Thameslink lines. From Platforms 11-13 in St Pancras there are regular trains to Stratford International. The trains use the high-speed line and take only about 7 minutes. Stratford International is the first stop. At Stratford International, follow ‘DLR’ and exit the building. The free shuttle bus marked ‘Here East’ serves the Bus Stop E on the opposite side of the road, near to the entrance of Stratford International DLR Station.

Travelling to Stratford using the Jubilee or Central Underground Lines

The Jubilee and Central lines serve Stratford Underground Station, which is about 500 metres from Stratford International Station. As Stratford Underground Station exit on the north side and follow the signs to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park through an underpass. This will take you to the north side, on Montfichet Road. The free shuttle bus to ‘Here East’ serves Bus Stop X on the opposite side of that road.

Shuttle Bus to Loughborough University London

The free shuttle bus to Here East arrives roughly every 5 minutes and takes about 5 minutes for the journey. Look out for a large 4-storey rectangular building with ‘HereEast’ on its roof. The building is mostly black, with lots of white dots and prominent orange-painted bits. Exit the bus when it arrives at Here East. Walk northwards along the west side of the nearer and larger building. You will pass by a huge orange ‘B’ on the side of that building, and by an entrance to BT Sport offices with a cafeteria inside. The entrance to Loughborough University London is just around that corner. Please report at the Reception on the ground floor.

On your return journey, note that every shuttle bus will serve Stratford International, Stratford International DLR and Stratford Underground stations.
