1st Annual Symposium on Neo-Institutional Law & Economics

We welcome submissions of full papers on any topic regarding the neo-institutional economic analysis of law. Submission of extended abstracts is acceptable but priority will be given to complete paper drafts. We explicitly encourage submissions by law, political science, sociology and economics professors, as well as young researchers (PhD and Master’s candidates) who will get a chance to present and discuss their work with more experienced law and economics scholars. Both Spanish and English will be spoken at the conference
The deadline for submission is July 15th, 2016. Decisions will be communicated by August 12th 2016. Please include the authors’ names and affiliations, the name of the prospective presen- ter as well as the mail and email addresses of the corresponding author.
All senior participants will need to pay a participation fee of US$ 80 during the registration at the conference. The participation fee for students is US$ 40. All travel and accommodation costs need to be borne by the participants. WINIR members are offered a 50% discount on the fee for attending the event.
Documents written in Spanish and accepted will be sent for double-blind peer review and subsequent publication in the Journal of Institutions, Ideas and Markets (RIIM). RIIM is an indexed and refereed publication of ESEADE. Documents written in English will be forwarded to another international indexed and refereed publication. Therefore, documents submit- ted must be original, unpublished and not under review or approval by another publication, conference or event.
