Council election results
The WINIR Council election opened on 6 February and closed on 20 February 2024.
As the four officer positions had already been filled (see here), the task at hand was to determine which 4 of 8 candidates would fill the remaining Council positions using the weighted voting system outlined in Art 7.6 of the Constitution. A full numerical explanation can be found here (members only).
With a turnout of 32.87% (95 ballots for 289 eligible voters), we are pleased to announce the following results:

Zehra Kavame Eroglu (Deakin University, Australia) – 14.4
The new WINIR Council, which will begin its mandate on 1 March 2024, will thus comprise:
