Publicity Officer vacancy
The WINIR Council is seeking to fill the position of Publicity Officer during the next election in early 2024.
The remit of the Publicity Officer revolves primarily around ensuring the presence and visibility of WINIR on social media. The Council is looking for an individual capable of enhancing WINIR’s activity on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube (where WINIR is already present), as well as launching and steering WINIR’s presence on Linkedin and other suitable platforms.
The Publicity Officer is also involved in producing event-related materials, such as flyers and brochures, and managing aspects of the WINIR website and any other online environments that support various kinds of WINIR events. In these roles the Publicity Officer works closely with the other WINIR Officers and the Council as a whole.
The Publicity Officer reports to the WINIR membership, usually during the annual conference, and is entitled to an annual honorarium (subject to tax).
