As usual, the papers accepted for WINIR 2024 cover a broad range of institutional themes and perspectives, spanning a variety of disciplines and relying on a variety of approaches and methodologies.
The sessions accepted for WINIR 2024 — which deal with a range of topics in economic history and contemporary society, including power, religion, communities, commons, and corporations — are just one indication of a rich programme with papers spanning multiple disciplines and perspectives.
The 2024 WINIR Young Scholars Pre-Conference Workshop featured an exciting range of papers from brilliants young scholars from around the world.
The WINIR Conference on Institutional Resilience & Recovery featured keynotes by Jennifer Lackey (Northwestern University, USA) and Tymofiy Mylovanov (Kyiv School of Economics, Ukraine & University of Pittsburgh, USA).
The Eighth WINIR Conference will be held in Pittsburgh, the Steel City, in southwest Pennsylvania, USA. The conference is hosted by University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Governance and Markets (CGM), which is housed in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and shares with WINIR a commitment to the study of diverse institutions and governance arrangements that affect social order and human well-being.
