In 2019 WINIR sponsored the Fifth Witten Conference on Institutional Change organised by the Witten Institute for Institutional Change (WIWa) at Witten/Herdecke University in Germany. Papers from economics, politics, ethics, psychology, philosophy, and other relevant social sciences that deal with artificial intelligence and big data were welcome.
In 2018 WINIR sponsored the Fourth Witten Conference on Institutional Change organised by the Witten Institute for Institutional Change (WIWa) at Witten/Herdecke University in Germany. Papers from any relevant discipline conceptualizing and dealing with institutional pathologies were welcome.
In 2016 WINIR sponsored the First Annual Symposium on Neo-Institutional Law & Economics held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. Submissions from law, political science, sociology, and economics scholars on any topic regarding the neo-institutional economic analysis of law were welcome.
